Green & Gold Pheasant

Striking original art deco statue of a game bird. Although this piece is unsigned, it is possibly a Charles Lemanceau piece and was obtained from France. A stunning design of green ceramic with gold highlighting, the pheasant is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks; some rubbing to the gold as to be expected with the age of the piece. The pheasant has wonderful markings and a charming face. This is a large and beautiful piece of art deco history. Height - 29 cms. Length - 37 cms. Depth - 11 cms.
