Grandfather Wall Clock
£85.00 Regular Price
Charming art deco wall clock from the 1930s with a simple yet stylish design. In working order, the clock has Westminster chimes. It should be noted that on occasion, the chimes do not sound for the quarter past and quarter to - this seems to be sporadic but so far, has chimed every hour and half past. The wood is in very good condition with only minor scuffs and knocks. The glass panel at the bottom where you can see the pendulum swing doesn't sit perfectly into the hole and so the previous owner has held this in place with some white plastic behind. There are some sellotape and blu tack marks to the glass which was obviously also used at some point. The glass sits well when the clock is in place but would move on opening the door. The face is wonderfully simple and classic. A fantastically stylish piece of art deco for any home. Height - 53 cms. Width - 32 cms. Depth - 15.75 cms. PLEASE NOTE that this item is collection only from Canterbury, Kent or from an upcoming fair.
