Stunning art deco nude figure from the 1930s. An unusual piece from Goldscheider made of terracotta. This beautiful nude is elegantly designed in a confident pose ruffling her hair; her face and eyes giving away the typical style of Goldscheider pieces. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Her nose, fingers and toes are intact which are usually the first things to get damaged on delicate figures like this. Stamped to the base with Goldscheider Wien and with incised marks of '8497 23 31'. An unusual and wonderfully stylish vintage art deco figure. Height - 47 cms.
