Stunning and rare art deco sculpture from the 1930s. An unusual piece from Goldscheider made of terracotta. This beautiful piece was designed by Stefan Dakon and is usually shown in painted ceramic fetching £4000 - £5000. Rarely found in this medium. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The noses, fingers and toes are intact which are usually the first things to get damaged on delicate figures like this. Stamped to the base with incised marks of '7868 154 7'. An unusual and wonderfully stylish vintage art deco figure. Height - 33 cms. Width - 27.5 cms (22.25 just of base). Depth - 11.25 cms.
