Gold Metal & Ebonised Wooden Box

Stylish art deco box in gold coloured metal and ebonised wood. Dating from the 1930s, this charming box has an engine-turned lid with vacant cartouche and teak lining to the inside. The metal is in good condition and has spots of tarnishing, mainly to the underside. The end pieces are formed of ebonised wood and are in very good condition with only a few scuffs. A fabulous vintage art deco desk accessory. Width - 15.5 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms. Height - 5cms.
