Rare and wonderful aluminium and chrome lamp. Made by BPP Coventry Ltd (British Pressed Panels) in the 1930s who predominantly made metal for industrial purposes but also made a small number of lamps known as Glimerglow. This is a small but fabulous lamp with adjustable centre which effectively acts as a dimmer switch allowing light through as preferred by turning the top finial. In very good condition for its age with one tiny dent to the top and some scratching. Fully working with the original switch still functioning and recently PAT tested. A hard to find piece of lighting history. Height - 21 cms. Diameter - 14.5 cms.
