French Marble Clock Garniture with Lady

Absolutely stunning art deco clock garniture with the original French retail label still attached to the inside door. The clock is fully working with the original movement and runs for 8 days before needing to be wound. It has a beautiful bell chime to sound the hour. The clock and vases are made of three different coloured marbles with a fantastic stepped design to the sides. The spheres also have a lovely lighter stripe of marble. In excellent condition, the marble has a few nibbles to the edges and one small chip to the front corner as pictured. These are very minor flaws only. One of the feet on a side vase has been replaced but is not noticeable on display. The lady on top is very well modelled in spelter and has all her fingers and toes! The fan has a beautiful detail to it also. She has dulled over time and I love the patina but this could be brought to a shine. The clock face is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the glass and the numbering is still clear. A truly magnificent and rare art deco clock garniture which would make a fabulous centrepiece.

Height - 13 cms
Length - 15.25 cms
Depth - 8.5 cms
