Lady Lamp with Disc Shade

Rare and original art deco lamp with lady and disc shade. The base has an elegantly modelled nude which stands in front of a frosted disc shade diffusing the light behind. She is in beautiful condition with only a minute patch of paint loss to her knee at the front and the shawl she is carrying at the back as photographed. The glass shade is in very good condition for age with some spots where the frosting has rubbed and with minute nibbles to the edges. The base is black with some signs of age but overall in good condition. Although unsigned, this is possibly a piece made by Frankart, a US manufacturer of the 1920s and 30s. The lamp has recently been rewired with an inline switch and PAT tested. A fantastic talking point for any room and hard to source. A stunning original art deco lamp. Height - 28 cms.
