Enfield London Transport Westminster Chime Mantle Clock

Stylish art deco wooden mantle clock made by Enfield in the 1930s. This is a presentation clock given as a retirement gift from London Transport Central Buses as shown by the plaque to the front. Fully working with an 8 day movement, this has Westminster chimes but can also be silenced with the lever on the face. The case is a wonderful shape; there is a very small knock to the wood at the top (0.5 cms), some of the black striping has worn to the side and the metal feet are rusting slightly. The face, glass and chrome surround are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Comes with pendulum and key. A wonderful piece of history from 1937. Height - 22 cms. Length - 27.5 cms. Depth - 12.5 cms.
