Ebena Bakelite Egyptian Box

Wonderful Egyptian themed bakelite box. Made by Belgian manufacturer Ebena in the 1920s. Capturing the fascination of all things ancient Egypt, this has a fabulous Pharoah's head to the lid. Made from mottled bakelite with a red bakelite interior. In good condition however this is a split (not very noticeable) to the base and a chip to underside of the rim lid. A rare and special vintage art deco box. Height - 14 cms. Diameter - 11.5 cms.
