Fabulous art deco bookends with deer and small snail on a marble base. This pair is larger than the usual size. The animals are spectacularly modelled from spelter and in excellent condition with a beautiful patina. The bases are in good condition with no cracks but some small chips and nibbles to the edges - nothing major. A charming pair of original art deco bookends from France. Height - 14.25 cms. Width each - 15.5 cms. Depth - 7.75 cms.
