Chrome Spiral Lamp with Acorn Shade

Stunning and original art deco lamp with a frosted glass shade. The stem is made of chrome with a wonderful thick stem with a spiral of thinner chrome wrapping around. In excellent condition, with minor signs of age. The stylish opaque glass shade is a rare frosted glass with a charming 'acorn' shape. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and this is most likely a French piece. Fully working as shown and recently PAT tested, it is complete with original gallery and bulbholder and original bakelite push button switch which functions. This lamp is a fabulous art deco example and a statement piece for any room. Height - 50 cms.
