Chrome & Lucite Lamp with Stepped Shade

Stylish and original art deco lamp with a rare cream stepped shade. The stem is made of chrome and substantial in diameter. The chrome is not in the best condition with pitting and bubbling to the stem and tarnishing to the base. This is noticeable on close inspection only. The lucite detail to the base gives this an elegant touch; there is one small chip to the back of the lucite. The gallery has some significant wear as photographed. The fabulous glass shade is a three step shade design and rare to find in this colourway. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Fully working and PAT tested with a functioning switch to the base. A large vintage art deco lamp and a statement piece despite the flaws. Height - 42 cms.
