Chrome Lamp with Cosmos Shade

Rare and original art deco lamp with a multi coloured shade. The stem is made of chrome with a stylish and simple square base in excellent condition. Dark marks are just camera reflection. It has an original and working switch to the stepped gallery. The unusual glass shade is a multi coloured design of red, orange, white, blue and purple and has a swirling and mottling effect giving it the look of a galaxy in the cosmos! The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The gallery is very slightly loose although holds the shade in place well. Fully working as shown, this lamp is a fabulous art deco example and a statement piece for any room. Height - 49 cms.
