Chrome & Catalin Candlestick Holders

Rare pair of art deco chrome candlestick holders with green discs of catalin as a finishing touch. Catalin is a form of plastic first developed in 1927 and was used  instead of bakelite as it was easier to add colour to pieces. This beautiful pair is of high quality and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the catalin and no dents to the chrome. Heavy for their size. A wonderfully stylish vintage art deco pair of candlestick holders. Height - 15.5 cms.
