Charles Lemanceau Pheasant

Stunning original art deco statue made by Charles Lemanceau. Although this piece is unsigned, it is one of his more well known pieces. This French design was manufactured in the 1930s. A beautiful mixture of brown ceramic, the pheasant is in very good condition. There is some crazing to the back of the animal. This is a large and striking piece of art deco history despite minor flaws. Height - 32 cms. Length - 48 cms. Depth - 12.5 cms.
