Ceramic Birds Lamp

Beautiful art deco desk lamp from the 1930s. Most likely of French origin, this is a charming brown glazed ceramic lamp base with a fantastically modelled pair of birds on a branch. The ceramic is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The white glass shade is in similarly good condition with no chips or cracks. Fully working, the lamp has new wiring - it doesn't have a switch on the cable so would currently need to be turned off at the plug although the new owner could easily have the cable replaced with an inline switch if preferred.
