Catalin Pot

Wonderful art deco powder or trinket pot. Made from mottled catalin which was the brand name for an early plastic similar to bakelite. Internally this has a green finish. In good condition however there is a mark to the top of the pot as photographed and a split where the finial joins the lid although this is mainly noticeable from the underside. A charming vintage art deco box. Height - 10 cms.
