Butterscotch Catalin Lamp

Rare and stunning art deco lamp. The fluted stem is made from catalin (the follow on from bakelite, catalin was made in much brighter colours) with a wonderful butterscotch / amber colour. The classic base is chrome with a stylish black disc. The glass shade is a cream lamp post shade which perfectly suits the base. In excellent condition with no flaws to the chrome, catalin or glass. Fully working as shown with a gallery switch, this is a magnificent art deco lamp. Height - 30 cms.
