Butterscotch Catalin Lamp

Beautifully stylish art deco lamp. The ribbed stem is made from catalin (the follow on from bakelite, catalin was made in much brighter colours) with a wonderful butterscotch / amber colour. In very good condition with one minor scratch to the catalin. The base is dulled metal. The glass shade is in a charming subtle yellow, a lovely shape and in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Fully working as shown and recently PAT tested, this is a magnificent art deco lamp. Height - 42.5 cms.
