Butterfly Marble Mantle Clock

Stunning and rare French art deco mantle clock with a butterfly to the top. The clock is made from heavy marble in two different colours of black and  a cream rippled marble. With a stylish geometric design of sweeping curves to either side of the clock face. The marble is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The clock face is simple and clean with green / blue metal hands and circles for numbers. There is a small chrome sphere to one side which has some pitting. The metal butterfly to the top is beautifully modelled with detailed wings and in fabulous condition. Fully working, this has an 8 day movement. A truly stunning and unique art deco clock. Width - 37.5 cms. Height - 22.75 cms. Depth - 8 cms.
