Birmingham 1933 Silver Compact

Very pretty sterling silver art deco compact. Made by S. Blanckensee & Sons and assayed in Birmingham 1933, this is fully hallmarked as photographed. A large piece measuring 3.92 oz (110.8g). It has the initial 'A' beautifully engraved to the cartouche on the front. The outside is in excellent condition with only very minor dents. The inside is clean but without powder or sponge. A charming vintage art deco piece which is worthy of investment as silver prices rise. Diameter - 9.25 cms.
