Bird Statue on Marble Plinth

Large and beautiful art deco spelter bird statue on a marble base. The bird is fantastically modelled and the spelter tail and wings have a wonderful golden patina to them. Made in France, this original art deco piece is in excellent condition. The white marble has some very minor nibbles to the side and back but are only noticeable upon close inspection. The statue can be dismantled for postage as shown. A very large and impressive art deco piece. Height - 40 cms. Length - 53.75 cms. Depth - 13 cms.
