Spectacular and rare art deco bookends with birds and crickets on a marble base. The animals are fantastically modelled from spelter and in excellent condition; an unusual subject piece with the addition of the detailed crickets. The bases are made from a brown marble with lovely grey and white trails; again in excellent condition with no cracks. A stunning pair of original art deco bookends. Height - 16.5 cms. Length each - 14.5 cms. Depth - 8.25 cms.
