Bakelite Scottie Dog Photo Frame

Wonderful art deco photo frame with two scottie dogs. An original from the 1920s, this stylish frame has a wooden base which is in excellent condition. The dogs are made from cream and black bakelite and are utterly charming in their design! The glass pane has a thick red border and thinner silver inner border. In very good condition with a couple of minute nibbles. It has a thin card backing which could be replaced by glass or a thicker card if preferred. Currently with a paper print of 'Portrait of Miss Poum Rachou' by Tamara de Lempicka c1933 for display purposes only. A fabulous vintage art deco photo frame. Height - 18.75 cms. Width - 26 cms.
