Bakelite Lamp with Concertina Shade

Beautiful and unusual art deco lamp with a bakelite stem and a cream and brown striped glass shade. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and has an open top to really let the light shine out. It is a lovely cream colour with brown striped detailing and a rare concertina shape. The bakelite base is in very good condition with only very minor scratches. There is a small hole drilled into the bottom as shown where the original thinner cable would have been. It still has the working switch underneath the shade. Fully working and recently PAT tested. A magnificent and rare art deco lamp. Height - 38 cms.
