Austrian Porcelain Parrot

Rare and very large early 20th century parrot. With beautiful bright colours, this spectacular piece depicts the parrot perched on a bell-shaped stand. It is wonderfully modelled in porcelain and in excellent condition with no chips. There is a small historic crack underneath the tail feathers which was made during the manufacturing process. Maker is sadly unknown however there are several marks to the base including 'Made in Austria' and some registration marks. A fantastic vintage art deco figure. Height - 35 cms.
