ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Anna! I specialise in buying and selling good quality art deco antiques from all over the world developed from a passion of anything art deco. I've been passionate about the deco era ever since my Mum introduced me to the wonders of Agatha Christie's Poirot on TV when I was a child. We would rewind just to catch glimpses of the fabulous pieces and architecture! I love being able to find stunning pieces and passing them onto their new owners. When I'm not out sourcing gorgeous stock, my lovely cat Luna keeps me busy!
I regularly have ceramics such as Myott, Shelley, Clarice Cliff, Clews, Noritake, Shorter & Sons and Crown Ducal to name a few. My regular glassware stock consists of Walther & Sohne, Stölzle, Davidson, Bagley and Sowerby. Plus fabulous figures by Michel Decoux, Marcel Bouraine, Odyv, Charles Lemanceau, Dax etc. I also have a wide range of art deco lamps, mirrors, clocks and photo frames as well as other miscellaneous items.
WHERE TO FIND ME
I'm based in Canterbury, Kent. Most of my selling takes place right here on my website! I don't have a physical shop but I'm happy to arrange viewings by appointment. You can get in touch via the Contact page.
I love trading in person at Antiques and Vintage Fairs across the South East of England. I don't have the pitch space to take everything so get in touch if there is something you wanted to view at a fair and I'll make sure it comes with me. Check the Upcoming Fairs page for details of where I'll be!
I also sell on Etsy and Narchie but due to their fees, my prices are higher on those platforms.
ITEM DESCRIPTIONS
I aim to describe all pieces accurately with any issues listed but to remind you that these are antique or vintage pieces. That means that they will very rarely look 100% perfect due to their age. Crazing and/or a few minor nibbles are to be expected.
If when you receive the item it is significantly not as described, I will offer you a full refund (within 14 days of you receiving it) when it arrives back to me. For reassurance, this happens very very rarely!
CLOCKS
I describe if clocks are currently in working condition or not however, as these pieces are over 80 years old, I can never guarantee that a clock will continue to work after purchase.
If I've described a clock as working, I allow a 14 day period for you to set up and test it. If you can't get it working within that time, I offer a full refund. After this time, I unfortunately can't take any returns. It is possible that the clock may just need a simple clean and service which a clock repairer local to you should be able to perform relatively easily.
