Squirrel Marble Lamp

Fabulous and rare art deco desk lamp on a marble base with a white textured glass shade and a spelter squirrel. Squirrels are increasingly hard to come by for a subject in art deco pieces. The marble is in very good condition with one minute nibble to one corner (felt rather than seen) and is cream with trails of brown. The shade is in similarly very good condition with no chips or cracks. The squirrel os lovingly detailed with a gold patina and in beautiful condition with some signs of age as expected. Fully working, the lamp has been PAT tested and rewired. The original switch still functions. A lovely vintage art deco lamp. Width - 22 cms. Depth - 9 cms. Height - 17 cms.
