Smiths Sectric Bakelite Electric Clock

Fabulously classy art deco bakelite clock. In full working order, this has an electric movement and has been recently PAT tested. This stylish clock, which is an original from the art deco era, has a bakelite surround, convex glass face with clear numbering and simply styled hands. The casing is made from beautiful bakelite and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is some marking to the inside of the glass hence the lower price. It looks like perhaps moisture has got in underneath the glass at some point in the past (see photograph). Only really noticeable on close inspection. The cable is short but clearly an extension plug could be used if necessary. A wonderfully stylish and quality art deco clock from the 1930s. Height - 17.5 cms. Width - 19.75 cms. Depth - 6.5 cms.
