Balleste Spelter Lady on Marble

Beautiful art deco spelter lady and bird lovingly modelled. The base is made of a charming marble with cream and brown banding to the front of the black base. The lady is signed by Balleste (a Spanish maker who moved to France and became Molins Balleste). With all her fingers and toes, she is in good condition with some tarnish to the patina to be expected of age. The marble is in excellent condition. A wonderful and genuine vintage art deco figure for display. Width - 41.5 cms. Height - 22.5 cms. Depth - 10.75 cms.
